Your Solution

Nut substitutes your measurements directly into the formula.

Enter measurements and calculate the area to see the steps.

04

How It Works

Different known measurements require different area formulas.

Area = ½ × Base × Height

Base + Height

Use this when the perpendicular height from the base to the opposite vertex is known.

Area = √(s(s−a)(s−b)(s−c))

Heron's Formula

Use this when all three side lengths are known.

Area = ½ab sin(C)

Two Sides + Included Angle

Use this when two sides and the angle between them are known.

Area = (√3 ÷ 4) × s²

Equilateral Triangle

Use this when all three sides are equal and one side length is known.
